Municipal Court

Serving the City of Amery, Village of Clear Lake, Village of Clayton, and Town of Black Brook Communities



The Amery Area Municipal Court represents the judicial branch of government and provides a neutral setting for resolving alleged City/Village ordinance violations. We provide friendly and efficient service to all court users, keeping in mind legal and ethical requirements. The Municipal Court provides a neutral forum for hearing City of Amery, Village of Clear Lake, Village of Clayton, and Town of Black Brook ordinance cases, where the penalty includes a forfeiture. These are not criminal charges and defendants are not entitled to a free lawyer.

Court is held the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. Adult Initial Appearances begin at 9:00 a.m. Juvenile cases are heard beginning at 9:30 a.m. Trials are scheduled as needed.
